Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your AfricanMovies account in the mobile app or request deletion after you no longer have access to the app.
Delete in the app
- Sign in to the AfricanMovies mobile app.
- Open Profile.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the notice, type DELETE, and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.
Request deletion without the app
Send an email from the address associated with your AfricanMovies account. Use the subject "Delete my AfricanMovies account" so we can verify and process your request.
Data we delete
Account profile information, active device sessions, saved payment tokens, favorites, watchlist entries, one-time sign-in codes, and viewing-session data associated with the account are deleted.
Data we retain
Purchase and transaction records may be anonymized and retained where required for refunds, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and app-store reconciliation. These retained records are no longer connected to an active AfricanMovies profile.
